Cyril David Shead (Christening)

PMMrs Rosalind Johnson My maiden name was Rosalind Shead and I was christened on H.M.S.Superb.

 

I was born on 4th Feb 1948 and my father Cyril David Shead was serving on the ship at the time. I think the ship was having a refit and that is why I could be christened on the vessel.

 

I was told that my name was in the inside of the bell. Does anyone know what happened to the bell?
